God isn't color blind

Been a long while on this blog. I've just been so busy with school and all.

It was Nigeria's party last weekend, and everybody was in the green spirit. Anyways, I belong to the decorating unit for my chapel and on Thursday night, we had to decorate the chapel to prepare for the Independence anniversary on Friday. We spent exactly 12 hours decorating(that's 10pm Thursday to 10am Friday).

I've been in this unit for about 2 years now, but I learnt something new that morning- Decorating might just be a simple act of arranging fabrics and colors, but then nothing done for God ever goes in vain such that if I pick up a white fabric, it means God's cleaning up my life and making it white as snow or if I pick a green fabric, it then means God's working on flourishing my life and so my life's gotta bloom like the trees...

I guess that just gave me a different perspective and made me realize that this is something I should do with my all my heart.

I hope to post colors and their meanings soon though, but the picture is the final product of the main altar of the chapel when we finished...

By the way, happy independence anniversary, Nigeria. It's really a year of jubilee!
